Another rare coffee comes to tell its own story through the Microfarm Project!
In the Mayan dialect Q'qnjobal, waykan means "star that shines in the night sky" while the Huehuetenango area, where the 28th limited edition Microfarm coffee comes from, is the one that has the highest altitudes in the country, up to 2,000 meters. Huehuetenango is Guatemala's most famous and difficult-to-pronounce area - the name is usually pronounced "way-way-the-NAN-go" - with 80% of the population living off coffee either directly or indirectly.
